Board Game
A classic board game where players race to the finish by climbing ladders and sliding down chutes based on dice rolls or spinner spins

Objective

Be the first player to reach space 100 at the top of the board by climbing ladders and avoiding chutes

Supplies

  • A spinner or 6-sided die
  • 1 player piece for each player
  • A drink for each player

    Any drink will do, but we recommend a Rival's Party Play Pitcher

Setup

  1. Each player chooses a pawn and places it on Start (space 1)
  2. Determine who goes first by spinning the spinner or rolling the die. The highest goes first and play continues clockwise
  3. Toast to the start of the game!

Gameplay

On your turn:

  1. Spin the spinner or roll the die
  2. Move your pawn forward the number of spaces shown. If you:
    • Land at the top of a chute: slide down to the bottom of the chute and Drink 1 sip for each space you moved back.
    • Land at the bottom of a ladder: climb to the top of the ladder and choose a player to drink 1 sip for each space you moved forward. You can choose to split up the sips. And yes, you can choose yourself, you lush.
    • Occupy the same space as another player: that's fine. High five or something. Then play rock, paper, scissors; the loser drinks 3 sips.
    • Roll or spin past space 100: stay put. You need to get to space 100 exactly. Drink 1 sip for each space you overshot by.
  3. Check the "Column Rules" below and perform the required column action

Column Rules:

When your turn is completely over, after you've climbed or slid, check which column your on. If you're on a space that ends in:

  • 0: Make a new rule. New rules stay in effect the entire game, but can be removed by a later rule.
  • 1: truth. Ask a player a question, and they must answer honestly. Try not to ruin any friendships. The player being asked can finish half their drink to avoid answering.
  • 2: pick a player to drink 2 sips.
  • 3: drink 3 sips.
  • 4: point to the floor. The last player to point drinks 2 sips.
  • 5: dare. Choose a player and tell them what they'll need to do. But the dare can't require them leaving the table. The player being dared can choose to finish their drink instead, and you're probably being kind of a jerk
  • 6: toast! Everyone raises their glasses while you say something nice, and you all have a sip together.
  • 7: point to the sky. The last player to point drinks 2 sips.
  • 8: pick a date! Choose someone special to have a sip with you.
  • 9: rhyme! Say a word or phrase, then each player in order rhymes with your word or phrase. Whoever messes up, takes too long, or repeats an already-used rhyme drinks 2 sips.

Winning

The first player to land exactly on space 100 wins! If you spin or roll higher than the number of spaces you need, stay put and end your turn.
The losers toast the winner and finish their drinks.
